Ilumination
Perez
But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever: Amen. (2 Peter 3:18).
The grace-advantage is the power of promotion. It brings acceptability, honour and dignity into your life such that others see the beauty and excellence of God in you. The grace of God has been made available to everyone of us in abundance (Ephesians 4:7); it’s the lifting power of God that attracts the right people, materials and resources you need to function in God’s destiny for your life. As one who’s graced of God, there’s a divine aura about you that attracts good to you. Even in challenging situations, that grace gives you the advantage and causes you to rise above every adversity.
Never struggle to be accepted at work, in school, at home or anywhere; you have the grace-advantage. All you need is to recognize and be strong in the grace of God: “Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus” (2 Timothy 2:1). To be strong is the grace of God is to be conscious of, and take advantage of it! You’re the seed of Abraham; therefore the grace for prosperity is working in you twenty-four hours a day! That grace puts you ahead and positions you for success like it did for Isaac, who sowed in a time of famine and reaped a hundredfold harvest in the same year (Genesis 26:12-13).
Even as the world battles a downturn, with major economies failing, you still have the advantage because you’re a child of grace. That’s why the Bible says “When men are cast down, then thou shall say, there is lifting up…” (Job 22:29). That’s because you have the grace-advantage; a lifting power that causes your life to move from glory to glory.
Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing (1 Peter 3:9). Some people complain bitterly about how they’ve been cheated, victimized or marginalized by others. They give these excuses as reasons for their failure in life. But that’s not your lot if you’re born again. You’re the seed of Abraham: “And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise” (Galatians 3:29). The blessing of Abraham is at work in you, and that blessing guarantees your prosperity, no matter where you find yourself in life, and gives you the advantage. It was that blessing at work in Isaac that gave him the advantage, causing him to prosper exceedingly, wax great and make progress until he became the envy of the Philistines (Genesis 26:13-14). That blessing was what made him dig wells and find water where others had tried and failed. The blessing worked so much for him that in a time of drought, where others experienced no harvest, Isaac sowed in the same land and reaped a hundred fold harvest (Genesis 26:12). Now, if the blessing could work so much for the folks in the Old Testament, and give them the advantage, then it certainly works much more for us today. This is the reason as a child of God you can never be disadvantaged; for you’re the blessed of the Lord! The blessing of Abraham is at work in you twenty-four hours a day. This blessing was what gave Abraham the advantage when he parted ways with his nephew, Lot. Both men had flocks that were so large that the land they occupied couldn’t accommodate them together any longer. This caused strife between their herdsmen. Abraham wasn’t happy with this, so he called Lot and asked him to choose a part of the land where he could tend his own flocks separately to prevent their herdsmen from confronting each other. The Bible says, Lot chose the best part of the land, leaving the other part for his uncle, Abraham (Genesis 13:10-11). Abraham didn’t care what part of the land he got for he knew he was a blessed man. By virtue of the covenant God made with him, he knew the whole world was his. We can also be like-minded for the world is ours through the blessing of Abraham
Hebrews 4:16, “Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need”.
Notice that the verse didn’t say “ask God for mercy,” but to “obtain” or “collect” mercy. Do you need mercy in your life? Don’t pray, “O God, have mercy on me!” That won’t work because He already had mercy on the whole world when He sent Jesus. Jesus was the extended mercy of God. Now, you’re to come boldly to the throne of grace and “collect” it.
The next part says, “…and find grace to help in time of need.” You have to determine which grace you need, because there are different “graces.” Is it the grace for healing, or the grace for multiplication? Is it the grace for winning souls? Which grace do you want? You could even get more grace for your business and for your finances. James 4:6 says, “…he giveth more grace….” It’s God’s desire to increase the grace on your life every time. 2 Peter 1:2 tells us how His grace is multiplied in your life: it’s through the Word—the knowledge of God, and of Jesus, our Lord.
Paul, writing to Timothy, said: “Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus” (2 Timothy 2:1). In other words, “take advantage of the grace that is in Christ Jesus.” You can take advantage of that special grace even now, and rebuke cancer from your body. You can take advantage of it and walk out of any predicament. John 1:16 says, “And of his fullness have all we received, and grace for grace.” We’ve all received of His overflowing grace; that grace, working in you, is the power of promotion and unending success. The Holy Spirit, who Himself is the Spirit of grace, lives in you. He has all the grace you need for an extraordinary life of excellence, victory, and dominion; take advantage of His special grace and reign as a king in life.

Perez burst forth from a position of disadvantage, right from the womb – Genesis 38:27-30
He was not supposed to be the first, but he was the first
Imagine that
As tight as the opening was, he found his way out first despite not being the first to emerge at the inception
This is your season of pole positioning in everything
